Persons
belonging to SC/BC and economically weaker sections, who have no land or residential
accommodation of their own, are allotted a residential plot measuring 100 sq.
yards free of cost under 100% Centrally sponsored Scheme. The plots are alloted
out of shamlat land/Govt. land, if available in the village and if no such land
is available then the land is acquired by the Government for this purpose.
For
all-round development of Mewat area comprising of Nuh, Ferozepur Zhirka, Nagina,
Punhana, Taoru and Hathin blocks, Mewat Development Board under the chairmanship
of Chief Minister, Haryana and Mewat Development Agency execute various schemes
in the field of drinking water supply, agricuslture, education, animal husbandry,
housing, health, communication and creation of community assets, etc. Similarly
for the all round development of hilly and semi-hilly areas of Ambala, Yamuna
Nagar and Panchkula districts shivalik Development Board executes various schemes
for providing basic infrastructure viz. watershed management by means of water
harvesting and soil conservation measures, afforestation, communications, power
supply, horticulture, animal husbandry, irigation, health and education, etc.
For
the maintenance of revenue record all out efforts are being made by the Revenue
& Disaster Management Department. Now all sorts of land record is being computerized
for its easy access to the general public. Agricultural census is conducted after
every five years. Under this scheme data relating to the number and area of the
operational holdings size, caste wise and social status wise, tenancy status,
land utilization, source-wise area irrigated, cropwise area as per irrigated and
irrigated conditions is collected.
Relief,
rescue and rehabilitation measures are provided at the time of any natural calamities
like floods, drought, fire, hailstorm, etc. In Haryana State relief norms are
fixed over and above the norms as fixed by the Govt. of India.
Up-gradation
and creation of sub-tehsils/ tehsils/ sub divisions and districts are made from
time to time in view of the demand from the public in general.
Revenue
in the shape of stamp duty & registration fee, on certain rates, is collected
on deeds ;presented before the sub-Registrars/Joint Sub Registrars and the same
is deposited in Haryana Government treasury under head “0030-Stamp and Registration”.
Consolidation
wing of Revenue and disaster Manaement Department looks after the consolidation
of the land of the entire State. By leaving an area of 4,21,328 acres of land
which is unjfit for consolidation being hilly and subject to river action etc.,
an area of 1,03,41,205 acres of land has been covered under consolidation and
an area of 3,56,649 acres is yet to be covered under consolidation.
Every
type of information including historical data in respect of all districts of the
Haryana State is depicted in the gazetters by the Gazetteeers Unit of Revenue
and Disaster Managtement Department. These gazetteers are revised from time to
time as per the latest changes.
Administrative
approvals in respect of all official buildings such as Mini Secretariats at district
level, SDM Complexes at Sub Divisional level, tehsil buildings at tehsil level,
sub tehsil buildings at sub-tehsil level and official residences for the officials/officers
of Revenue Department are given and monitored by this department
