Activities/Achievements From 5-3-2005 To 31-12-2007 Proections/Programme For The Rest Of The Year 2007-2008
There are 7081 village in Haryana with an area 1,08,19,182 acres, Out of which 109 villages covering an area of 1,21,328 acres are unfit for consolidation being hilly and subject to river action etc. Out of the remaining 6972 villages fit for consolidation with an area of 1,06,97854 acres, the consolidation work in 6781 villages with an area of 1,03,41,205 acres has been completed. Remaining 191 villages covering an area of 3,56,649 are to be covered under Consolidation in Haryana. At present consolidation work in 64 villages is in hand in which approximately 40% work at various stages has been completed. The work is in progress in all the 64 villages and expected to be completed during the year 2007-2008 provided there is no litigation from the right holders. In the remaining 127 villages the work of another 40 villages will be started during the year 2008-2009.
An amount of Rs. 3,84,51,000 has been sanctioned in the budget for the financial year 2007-2008.
